There's a Party in the Birmingham sky...

Birmingham is a city in the state of Alabama that has loads of appeal as a result of its southern charm, art and history museums, and attractions and landmarks featuring themes of a science and iron industry nature. Although much of Birmingham's attractiveness as a city to visit, retire to or live in resides in it’s rich history as the location of many a civil or civic uprising, it also has some pretty modernized characteristics that make it interesting to younger generations as well.

If you find yourself in Birmingham, whether it's for a week ,a day, or an hour, you won't be left wanting more in the way of entertainment. There's literally so much to do that it may be impossible to get to it all. For example, if you’re hungry there are lots and lots of restaurants featuring menus from fine dining tastes to “ we want momma's country cookin’ “ elements, like at Bogue’s, a well known local breakfast establishment. Or if you want an opportunity to take in some live music , you could visit one of the local dives and maybe get a chance to sit in on a set. Or if you’re looking for the perfect photo op and want to see one of the symbols of the city, you could casually bend over and moon one of Birmingham’s neighboring cities below the statue of Vulcan, whose nudity allows for him to consistently be cracking a smile in the general direction of Homewood, Alabama. This by the way is a running joke that has a long standing and is deeply rooted in the history of Birmingham, so no disrespect intended, we have a sense of humor and love those who do as well!
